I don't know how I got sick, today was worse. I was asleep for most of the day and can't say that I accomplished anything. This week I really want to catch up on my game and really start to look at the affected countries from the ideas of the American Revolution.

Today was horrible! First of all, I woke up really late, around 11 AM. Then, apparently I fell in sick. I just felt that I could not concentrate and it would take me forever to get things done. First off was to do homework for next week, an essay in english, study for a math test, study for a mayor chemistry quiz and a project that is due next week in spanish. :(
I struggled through getting it all done and in the end it was night. I did not get to work at all on the Liberty Project. Total time spent: 0 minutes After school today, there was a Cross Country meet! Then, I had to go on many errands for school supplies I needed, so by the time I got home it was late and I was tired. I decided to go to bed early and get sleep so that I can wake up tomorrow do my homework and hopefully get some Liberty Project progress done.
Total time spent: 0 minutes So far, I feel like I am doing a pretty well job of keeping up with this project! Today I read the portfolio on the project from schoology again to refresh my mind. Then, the rest of the time I spent trying to see what parts of the world were later affected by the ideas of both the American and French Revolutions. One of those countries is Haiti. These people took the idea of liberty from the United States and put it into their own action against France, later gaining their independence. After, I just book marked other possible influenced countries on Diigo for me to check later. I've got a Cross Country meet tomorrow, so tonight I went to sleep earlier.
Total time spent: 30 minutes My main focus today was the American Revolution. Besides what caused the American Revolution, I tried to get to how the Enlightenment influenced it and i got a few people that may had influenced it too. This people were Enlightenment thinkers that shaped our country such as Thomas Jefferson. Besides him, I also saw that other thinkers felt that the issues with Britain were affecting their Enlightenment ideas. Then afterwards, I looked a little at the French Revolution and the Enlightenment, but I did not go too deep into it. Well, I think that what I did today was good enough, hopefully soon, I'll start putting some things together. In the next couple of days I will start to look at other countries affected by these revolutions.
Total time spent: 1 hour I had more time today to work on the project than the last several days! Today I focused mainly on how the Enlightenment influenced the formation of the United States. Through my reading I ran into Locke and the social contract of Thomas Hobbes. What I really just realized throught the reading is that the Enlightenment has become an important time through the history of human development. The world that we have today would not be what it is at all if the Enlightenment would have not occured. The United States would not be a country and France would probably not had its revolution, that's so cool! I just had no idea how big this period truly was and how extremely affected we are by all of this.
Total time spent: 1 hour, 5 minutes Today I thought that I was going to get at least an hour to work on the project, but it turned out that there is a math quiz tomorrow. Well, that just meant studying more after I came home from Cross Country and did my homework. I wanted to get some information on the American Revolution, so it can lead me to another part of the world besides France that was affected by this revolution. I couldn't get to it though, but I did quickly get some webpages I thought might be of use and saved them on Diigo so that I can hopefully have time to read tomorrow.
