Today I finished writing the rough draft of my liberty essay! Well, with the exception of the conclusion... Now all I have to do is type it up tomorrow! I really feel confident about this essay I think it is even greater than the Vitruvian Man essay.

Once done with my other homework, I decided it was best to start off with getting the work done on my sources to get that off my shoulders. From Diigo, I seperated all my sources into two categories; primary sources and secondary sources. Then I spent a while looking over them and analysing until finally, I did the two required OPVL's. One OPVL was on the Declaration of Independence, a primary source. The second one was done for section 4 in chapter 6 of Modern World History, our history textbook, a secondary source. Then I continued to write the rough draft of my liberty essay. I can say that I am half way done and expect to finish tomorrow so that i can type on Monday and turn it in! :)
Total time spent: 5 hours I went back to the history textbook today and looked over on what information it had based on the Enlightenment. There was some useful additional information that I took note of. Afterwards, I looked on some of the primary sources that the textbook used and took some in consideration to use as my primary sources, since I am mainly in need of them. Then, I started to look over my sources to get an idea of which ones would be worthy enough to do an OPVL on them. At last, I started to work on my first body paragraph of the essay, but did not finish or took it very far. I hope to get a lot done tomorrow!
Total time spent: 1 hour What I did today was to reread the insructions to keep them fresh in my mind and remind myself what to get done, but there was no further work able to be done, not very happy about it. This week has been filled with a lot of homework lately...mostly studying. I AM GETTING SOMETHING DONE TOMORROW! There is no way that tomorrow I will not be able to get things done.
Total time spent: 7 minutes Today was quite a day! I had a Cross Country meet, had lots of fun and came home late and exhausted. Finished my homework and did some studying, but by then I could barely stay awake. As an athlete, I take my health very seriously and believe that in order to perform at my best in both school and sports, there must first be quality sleep. There was nothing accomplished today.
Total time spent: 0 minutes There was not much that I was able to do today. I had a lot of homework and studying to do for math and chemistry (for some reason its always those two subjects that demand a lot of time). What I was able to do was only to write down a few ideas for the essay, of what I should say on certain topics, just suggestions so that I keep those in mind while I am writing.
Total time spent: 15 minutes Today I started out the rough draft of the Liberty Project. Deep Breath! When it comes to writing, especially in cases of these long liberal essays, I must write under very special conditions. First, there must be zero distractions, none, even the slightest distraction and I just can't write because I feel that I am not getting all the thoughts in the paper which makes me feel that it is incomplete. Second, I have to be inspired. Haha, I know. What I mean is that, under a nice quiet environment, I have to have all my thoughts concentrated on this topic only, other thoughts flying by will disturb me. Due to this, usually first off, I just kind of sit there for a moment and sort out my thoughts, think of the information and add notes to make reminders to myself, after that, I begin the writing process.
In all, it takes me a very long time to write an essay because I repeatedly go through that process many times, but I think that it really helps me and in the end I am satisfied with my work. I wrote the introduction and I think that for today, that's good. I'm tired, Cross Country practice today was a killer, but I'm not going into that. Tomorrow I hope to continue to write.
